Les Celliers de Sion invites you on a unique discovery of the history and wines of the Bonvin and Varone estates. The Oenotourism Centre has been designed to offer you an experience that is completely unprecedented in Switzerland. You’ll also get the chance to discover every facet of the majestic hillside, which benefits from dramatic views over the Rhône Valley. Come to one of the original tastings and learn all about the local wines and their flavours, right in the heart of the cellar.

The other winners Best of Wine Tourism 2019, Lausanne are :
 “Art & Culture” category : the Cave des Lauriers Jungo & Fellmann from Cressier, in the Canton of Neuchâtel, has been tended by five generations since 1879. This cellar gives a lot of energy to organise cultural events, such as the Café-Theatres and especially the “Arte & Vini” open cellars. Since 1995, these events combine the discovery of wines from the estate and artists from the area who exhibit their work in the cellar.


“Architecture & Landscape category”: the Domaine du Burignon from Saint-Saphorin and the Château de Rochefort from Allaman. Those properties of the Town of Lausanne have undertaken remarkable renovations for some years now, transforming these historical estates into magnificent wine-tourism hospitality venues.

“Discovery, Innovation and Products” category : the Cave Emery from Aigle bursts with original and creative ideas. Wine labels signed with humoristic regional expressions, “Ap(air)o” offer at an altitude of 3,000 m in collaboration with a helicopter operator, seminar packages or introductory days with winegrowers: It won the category.
