Casablanca Valley celebrated the traditional Pinot Noir Night

On this occasion, vineyards that presented their Pinot Noir vintages were Kingston Family Vineyards, Viña Casas del Bosque, Viña Indómita, Viñamar, Viña Veramonte, Estancia El Cuadro, Cono Sur, Viña Vestiquero, Loma Larga VIneyards, Viña Casablanca, Viña Emiliana and Matetic Vineyards. In addition, attendees had the opportunity to taste sparkling wines with D.O Casablanca 100% Pinot Noir.

Journalists, diplomats and wine lovers shared with winemakers of each vineyard, living a moment nearby, being able to give personalized information to each assistant, according to their interests; technical characteristics and details in the development or stories of each wine.

Mario Agliati, President of Association of Wine Entrepreneurs of Casablanca Valley, thanked the attendees, participating vineyards, directors of the Association and ambassadors of various countries in Chile for their interest and participation in the celebration of the XII Edition of the Night of the Pinot Noir. He highlighted the positive evolution of this outstanding strain of Casablanca Valley, the first cold weather valley.

 

The Casablanca Valley is recognized worldwide for the high quality of its wines, and the special influence it receives from its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, features that have allowed it to become the most important cold climate premium wine valley in country, and that 2013 earned him the appointment of the organism Great Wine Capitals, as the only Wine Capital of Chile.
