Château de Rouillac

Regional Winner - Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices - Bordeaux

Built in the 17th century, Château de Rouillac bears witness to the architectural influence of one of its most illustrious proprietors: Baron Haussmann. Today, the domain has adopted a policy of sustainable agricultural methods and a certification for the “High Environmental Value” label. Visitors are invited to participate in this program, via an “eco responsible” tour of the vineyard, in a horse drawn carriage, followed by a visit of the new HQE vat room.
