Podere Poggio a Campoli

Regional Winner - Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices

The estate is situated on the south west side of the Chianti hills where the peculiarity of the calcareous land, the mildness of the climate and the laboriousness of men enhance the production of high quality wines. The owners have long worked in the research and reimplant of the almost extinct grapes and have applied the organic farming techniques since 1998 in a way to obtain wines rich in savours and personality, which remember ancient country memories. The farm include the historic cellar and the main building, dating back to the 12th century, where the holiday house for tourist is situated. The visitor will be immersed in a world of centuries-old traditions which have been improved using the modern knowledge of the sustainable practices.
