Kraut & Reben - Winery Schneider

Sustainability in the vineyard and cellar as well as the cultivation of its own herbs and vegetables distinguish the Weingut Miriam Schneider in Mainz-Hechtsheim. The ensemble, consisting of a vinothek and vineyard shop entitled “Kraut und Reben” [‘Herb and Vines’], that was only opened in 2014, offers a balanced concept that is currently among the most innovative offers in Mainz. Winegrower Miriam Schneider and her family were able to pick up points with the jury with the comprehensive range on offer for the Best of Award Sustainability in Wine Tourism.

Quinta das Escomoeiras

Quinta das Escomoeiras is a Rural Tourism unit strongly dedicated to wine tourism.

The 10,5 ha estate, comprising 3 ha of vineyards and 6,5 ha of forest, is located by the right bank of the Tâmega river.

All activities are biologically developed. It is a member of the Vinhos Verdes Route and provides guided visits to the vineyards, pedestrian tours, commented visit to the Cellar and wine tasting. It gives special attention to the local grape qualities of the Basto Sub-Region.

It also produces fruit and herbs jam. All products are available in the Estate’s shop.

Bodega Norton

Bodega Norton it is one of the most recognized and popular brands in Argentina. 
In 1989, the Austrian businessman Gernot Langes - Swarovski arrives in Mendoza. A nature and Argentina’s lover, he discovers in Norton a conjugation of attractive elements: 

  • Natural beauty of the land.
  • Warmth of the place’s people.
  • Favorable conditions for growing grapes.
  • Raw material surrounding the winery.

 

Quinta das Escomoeiras

A Quinta das Escomoeiras é uma unidade de Turismo no espaço Rural, em que o Enoturismo é um ponto forte. A propriedade tem uma área total de 10,5 hect., dos quais 3 de vinha e 6,5 de floresta, localizada na margem direita do rio Tâmega. Todas as actividades são desenvolvidas em modo biológico.

Membro da Rota dos Vinhos Verdes, proporciona visitas guiadas às vinhas, percursos pedestres, visita comentada à Adega e prova de vinhos.

Château Couhins - INRA

Situé aux portes de Bordeaux, le Château Couhins est depuis 1968 propriété et vitrine de l’Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA). Ce site permet la mise en œuvre harmonieuse des innovations viticoles et vinicoles pour une production de vins de haute qualité à faible impact environnemental. Il permet de valoriser et expliquer cette démarche aux acteurs de la filière comme aux amateurs. Ces innovations environnementales, dont certaines sont maintenant utilisées couramment dans beaucoup d’autres propriétés, ont permis au château Couhins d’obtenir la certification ISO 14001.

Château Couhins - INRA

Château Couhins is located within easy reach of the city of Bordeaux. Since 1968 it has been both the property and showcase of the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA). The estate has enabled the Institute to implement innovative vine cultivation and wine-making practices in order to produce high quality wines with low environmental impact. This approach can be highlighted and explained on site to operators in the wine sector and non-professional enthusiasts alike.
