Margaux. The latter are “communal appellations”, related to the name
of the village they surround.

The distinction, roundness and balanced personality of the Médoc
appellation wines derives from the extreme variety of its terroir's
character. These wines may be full bodied with a fine ruby red colour and
need to be kept a long time to let their different nuances develop or they
may be elegant, subtle, with a fine bouquet, ready to be drunk younger.
Haut Médoc
Over and above the differences which derives form the astonishing
variety of terroirs, the Haut Médoc wines have the same family traits of
character. Alert and lively, full-bodied without being too powerful, and
harmoniously balanced, we need to leave them several years to let them
acquire a rare bouquet.

The wine of the Moulis appellation can charm us with a fine, deep,
intense ruby colour, an elegant bouquet or with complex and powerful
nuances of aromas, a very fine structure, astonishing long in the mouth.
Listrac en-Médoc
The wines of Listrac dress themselves in a ruby tint with the passing
time. The different elements melt into one another to give a velvety, full
and fleshy wine. They are well structured, full and silky. They represent
the perfect blend of the fruit of the Cabernet with the power of the
Merlot.
