Castello del Trebbio

The Castle-farm "Castello del Trebbio", owned since 1968 by the Baj-Macario family, has a total surface of over 800 acres situated in 2 prestigeous Chianti areas: the Chianti Colli Fiorentini and the Chianti Rufina, where they produce their top wines like Chianti Rufina Riserva (100% Sangiovese grape), Pazzesco IGT (Sangiovese, Merlot, Sirah) Rosso della Congiura (100% Sangiovese).  In the private castle owned by the family and built in 1184 by the famous Florentine family "Pazzi", there are year round tours of the 900 year old cellars (with dungeons) with wine and oil tasting. Guests stay in the renovated farm houses and enjoy many activities like cooking classes, horse back riding. painting courses, etc.

Castello di Gabbiano

One of the oldest wine estate in Chianti, Castello di Gabbiano is today also a perfect location for a special event, a week-end, an unforgettable vacation. The estate is situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, between Florence and Siena, which makes it an ideal base for exploring Tuscany and some of Italy’s most beautiful and historical cities. Guests are invited to make an appointment to visit the ancient wine cellar, located under the 12th century castle. The wine cellar, has been restored and converted to be the wine-aging cellar, the estate wines age for 12/24 months in big French oak casks and barrels.

Tenuta San Vito

Castello di Verrazzano 

The Castle of Verrazzano is situated in the heart of Chianti Classico, close to the two cities of art in Tuscany, Florence and Siena (exactly 20 minutes from the motorway exit at Firenze Sud). Many varied subjects are discussed during the visit: the territory and its architecture, the Castle with its Renaissance gardens, the tower built in the 10th century, the panoramic position in relation to the Chianti hills and the neighbouring castles. The Castle is a family run estate, internationally recognised with official documents dated 1150 citing the Verrazzano wine production.

Riserva di Fizzano 

Sourrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the apartments of Rocca delle Macie are in a Medieval village in the heart of Chianti Classico at 6 km far from the winery. It has been meticulously restored and given a new lease of life as the "Relais Riserva di Fizzano". Castello di Meleto 

Few, if any, of the many castles in Chianti, have the fascination of Meleto, a majestic 13th century hill-top building one mile from the ancient village of Gaiole. At the beginning it belonged to the monks of the Abbey of Coltibuono; subsequently it has marked the history of one of the most important families of the Chianti area, the Ricasoli, who have embellished and modified its structure over the centuries. . Meleto Castle offers guests a dream holiday. Either inside the Castle in bedrooms which have seen 800 years of history, or in the characteristic farm buildings around the Castle.

Fattoria La Loggia

Completely immersed in a natural environment and surrounded by olive trees and by its own vineyards, the Fattoria la Loggia is in the heart of the Chianti Classico, 15 km to the south of Florence, and is placed on top of a hill from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of great beauty and fascination.

The Fattoria is made up of a village of ancient farmhouses and dates back to 1427. In the Renaissance the Fattoria la Loggia belonged formerly to the Buondelmonti and then to the Medici family, lords of Florence.

Petra 

Described as the best modern winery in the world, Petra is an impressive winery, perfectly integrated in the landscape of northern  Maremma Toscana. Designed by famous Swiss architect Mario Botta and commissioned by Mr.Vittorio Moretti, it combines sheer beauty and amazing functionality. The building has been developed in a vertical way and the grapes are received from the top floor; vinification takes place using the force of gravity minimising any stress on the skins.

Castello di Verrazzano 

The Antica Fattoria Paterno is located in the area of the Florentine Chianti Hills. The Farm, dominated by a typical XVII century tower, includes the villa and the adiacent farm buildings. Donatella Cinelli Colombini 

Donatella Cinelli Colombini owns two farmhouses in Tuscany: in Montalcino and Trequanda in the heart of Medieval Tuscany. In Montalcino, the Casato Prime Donne, there are 19 hectares of vineyards. The winery is very suggestive: it begins with a medieval hermitage, it crosses the underground of the sixteenth century villa and then rises up until the loft where the Vin Santo is made. The vinification area has up to the minute apparatus and a spectacular panorama of the Crete Senesi. 

For the lovers of “useful” farm holiday in Tuscany the estate organizes cookery and enology courses. Barbara Magnani, the wine maker, during the class will explain all the secrets of wine and wine tasting.

Castello Romitorio

Romitorio Castle (13th Century and its land were bought by Maestro Sandro Chia in 1984. In 1986 there was the first production of Rosso di Montalcino and in 1987 first wine, Romito del Romitorio was sent to New York, today property makes 150.000 bottles of all our wine (eight different type of wine).

In the property there is also "Poggio di sopra" a splendid complex of 600 squere meters located in Castelnuovo dell'Abate only 9 km from Montalcino and only 1 km from Sant'Antimo Abbey.

Tenuta Torre a Cona 

Fattoria Torre a Cona is an imposing 18th century villa located in the area of Chianti Colli Fiorentini, close to Florence. Castello di Oliveto

Fattoria Casa Sola 

Casa Sola is a farm located near the town of Barberino Val d'Elsa at about 30 km from Florence and 28 km from Siena, in the heart of the Chianti Classico Gallo Nero area. It extends for a total of 120 hectars, 26 of which are exploited for the vineyards and 40 for the olive groves. The remaining ground comprises fields and woods which create an ideal microclimate for grape maturation.

Casa Sola also provides some leisure time thanks to its wine and oil tasting, weekly visit of the vineyards and the wine cellar, cooking courses etc.

Coli SPA

The legend of the Coli Wine Cellar originates in 1926, when Piero and Gino Coli began their adventure at the gates of Florence. The Coli Brothers decided to seek out and sell the most traditional of wines produced in the Chianti hills, which were then and continue to be the Chianti and Chianti Classico Wines.

A select list of wines are produced for restaurants directly on the Pratale and Montignana Farms belonging to the Coli Family: In the beautiful Tuscan countryside, traditional estates with Italian Cypresses dot the landscape in between the vineyards and deep forests. The rural houses of the Pratale Farm have become a fundamental part of this natural landscape.

Fattoria Montignana, situated in the pictorial surroundings of San Casciano Val di Pesa, links its history the Estate of The Bishop of Florence and to the Florentine Monk’s Convent, S. Gallo. Fattoria Montignana thus has a rich history, which is already mentioned in some documents dating back to the 13th Century.

Agricola Lavacchio 

Fattoria Lavacchio is an old Tuscan farm , situated on the top of the Montefiesole Hill (450 mt. above sea level) along a route of Roman origin, nowadays Strada del Vino Chianti Rufina (Vino Chianti Rufina Street). After passing over the River Sieve, this route goes up to the hillock looking Florence and Fiesole’s valleys. The Farm is situated in the wonderful sequency of sweet hills

Twelve hectares out of 15 of vineyard are destined to Chianti Rufina, the most important product of the farm to which other wines of particular interest are aligned.
