In the Nave Cultural was held the award of Best of Mendoza's Wine Tourism 2018, a contest that recognizes excellence in wine tourism. The gold winners will participate in the global event next month in Casablanca, Chile.

The province dressed up for the awards ceremony that recognizes excellence in local wine tourism: the Best of Mendoza's Wine Tourism 2018. The awards took place in the Nave Cultural of the City of Mendoza and attended by Governor Alfredo Cornejo and the Mayor of the City of Mendoza, Rodolfo Suarez.

The tenth ‘Best Of Wine Tourism’ Award winners for Mainz & Rheinhessen selected – two gold medals for the J. Neus Winery

Mainz and Rheinhessen selected its 2018 ‘Best Of Wine Tourism’ award winners on September 5th. At the international finals in Valparaíso (Chile) the J. Neus Winery from Ingelheim also won the international award in the category „Architecture and landscapes“.

Penfolds Magill Estate – synonymous with South Australia and world-class wine – has taken out the international Best of Wine Tourism Award for the category ‘Wine Tourism Services’.

On Thursday, 9th November, the closing ceremony of the Annual General Meeting of Great Wine Capitals took place at the Veramonte Winery in Casablanca. This event brought to a close the activities which took place over the course of last week in Valparaíso and Casablanca, with the participation of over 90 international delegates and well-known figures within the winegrowing and wine tourism industry. This has positioned Valparaíso Casablanca Valley as an important centre within the worldwide wine industry.

As one of nine recognized Great Wine Capitals, San Francisco | Napa Valley has awarded its hospitality leaders the 2018 Best Of Wine Tourism regional designations in seven categories.

Wine students looking to broaden their global insights can register their interest to travel to our Great Wine Capitals regions as part of an exchange to study and gain invaluable cultural experiences, thanks to a new online internship portal.

The portal will match students and wine businesses with Great Wine Capital cities to study at an academic institution and/or gain experience at cellar doors, vineyards, wine marketing and many more areas in the wine industry.

On November 9th, Veramonte in Chile’s Casablanca Valley was the scene of the 2018 international ‘Best Of Wine Tourism’ awards ceremony sponsored by the Great Wine Capitals Global Network. The ceremony took place during the gala dinner that marked the end of the Network’s annual general meeting.

The 15th Best Of Wine Tourism Night revolved around awards given to the best wine tourism activities in the Bordeaux region in 2018.  

21 trophies were handed out, including 6 gold ones.  The ceremony took place on the 17th of October at the Bordeaux Gironde Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  The next challenge for the “Golden Best Of" award winners is to compete for a "super" International Best Of Wine Tourism award on the 9th of November in Valparaiso, Chile.

The Vintners Association of Casablanca Valley realized in  Casas del Bosque Vineyard the traditional event “Tintos de Clima Frío”, at which time the guests were able to taste the Premium line of the vines in the Valley.
