After the blind tasting of 11,000 labels from around the world, critics of Wine & Spirits magazine choosing the top 100 wines of 2019, and Portugal is on this list with 5 producers.
The Douro Region dominates the Portuguese winners with 3 producers, W&J Graham’s, Quinta do Noval and Taylor Fladgate, the Vinho Verde region is once again on the list with Quinta de Soalheiro and the Bairrada region with Luis Pato.
The list of the top 100 wineries in the world 2019 can be found on the magazine's website, with 15 awarded countries, between the old and the new world of wine.
With regard to the wines of the old and the new world, the date of the international tasting organised by the Great Wine Capitals (November 6th) is getting near, which will be held as part of their annual meeting, which this year, celebrates its 20th anniversary, will take place in Bordeaux, and where some of the best wines from the wine regions that make up this network will be presented.
