A very special and safe baby area
Zeni is an historical winery sitting in the hills of Bardolino (Lake of Garda, Italy). Since 1870 the family has dedicated themselves to producing some of the finest and crafted wines in Verona. Today, the 5th generation, represented by Fausto, Elena and Federica drives with dedication and passion two main locations with estate-owned vineyards. The main one is in the heart of Bardolino and the second one in Fumane, Valpolicella Classica area, at the foot of the Waterfall park of Molina. The Wine Museum, located within the winery building in Bardolino, is a private collection realized by the founder and father, Gaetano Zeni and maintained alive by his sons, as a tribute to the heritage of the ancient winemaking culture.
At the end of the Wine Museum journey, visitors will find the Enoteca-Selling Point, a free entrance area dedicated to wine tastings where guests can also purchase the products supported in the choice by the staff.
In the 2017 the Zeni winery has been proud to introduce the refurbished Wine Museum, which includes a special baby area, thought for younger visitors. Between the last exposition section and the Enoteca, children can entertain themselves in a safe corner, furnished with comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV which broadcast selected cartoons channels. Toys are not at disposal for security and acoustic reasons, but children can of course play with their own ones.
In this way parents can better enjoy the wine experience, while supervising their children in a safe environment.
Moreover, the winery organizes special guided tours for kindergardens and elementary schools. Thanks to all these different initiatives, the wine cellar represents an occasion for development and fun at any age. “Little guests” can visit the Wine Museum and explore the vineyards receiving from the staff a deep understanding about the production process which leads every single grape to become an excellent wine.
Depending on the children’s age, different playful moments will follow. All participants will be given a nice souvenir to remember the visit. For further info, please visit: www.zeni.it
Outdoor dining with barbecues
At Agriturismo San Leone families can live the atmosphere of wine production: through a guided itinerary, guests can walk among the rows of the educational vineyard, visit the ancient tools museum, discovering the charm of the surrounding countryside.
Outside, there is a large furnished garden with a children play area, equipped with benches, wooden picnic tables and barbecues available to cook some meal and taste a glass of wine produced by the Agritourism. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy outdoor dining, very appreciated for summer meals.
Moreover, families can also rent bicycles to reach Garda Lake and explore nature trails in the Mincio Park or the charming medieval village of Borghetto sul Mincio.
