Enrolment process for the Worldsom Magister in Bordeaux is currently going on.

10 weeks courses taught in English, as well as tasting and dinners at iconic estates in the vineyards will take place in Bordeaux from 13th October 2014 until 19th December 2014.

The training allows wine and spirits professionnals and connoisseurs to recieve the Worldsom Magister, an International Sommelier diploma awarded by the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

NOS Primavera Sound is back for the now confirmed fourth edition of the festival. Between 4th and 6th of June the Parque da Cidade plays host once again to some of the most renowned names, as well as emerging bands, in the national and international panorama.

The biggest festival of Port Wine is back to Vila Nova de Gaia’s riverside.

In the past only students could attend the GWC-Weinexpress. Starting this summer also locals and tourists have the possibility to discover germans biggest winegrowing area of Rheinhessen on special tour dates.
Five times from june till october 2014 the GWC-Weinexpress will start from Mainz to toplevel wineries of Rheinhessen. All wineries has been awarded by the „Best of Award“. A specialized tourguide will attend the tour telling facts about the region and the wine. Guests will have two wine tastings in two different wineries and enjoy a local snack „Weck & Worscht“.  

During April the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Queenstown's Amisfield Winery and Bistro as part of their official New Zealand tour.  After a walk through Amisfield's Lake Hayes vineyard the couple then tasted the latest vintage of the Amisfield Pinot 2011, which was recently awarded 92 points in Wine Spectator Insider and met with owner Mr John Darby and winemaker Dr Stephanie Lambert.

South Africa has taken joint-second place of countries awarded International Trophies at this year’s Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA), the world’s largest wine competition, winning four of the prestigious top accolades. The winners were announced last night in London, at the 10th anniversary DWWA presentation dinner at the Royal Opera House.
