Etude is the San Francisco | Napa Valley global winner for the 2018 Best of Wine Tourism Awards. They farm and operate with the goal of sustaining a healthy environment and eco-system, so they may be responsible neighbors and community members.

The Hess Collection winery has earned international recognition for its wine, culinary and visitor programs while providing free public access to Donald Hess’ extensive private contemporary Art Museum.

A jury of experts from San Francisco and the Napa Valley conferred on The Hess Collection a Best Of Wine Tourism award in the Art & Culture category for 2018.

Davis Estates is a family owned and operated estate located in Calistoga, Napa Valley. Passion, honesty and meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of life is the philosophy there. In 2011, the Davis family purchased the century-old estate winery and began their ambitious restoration project to create a distinguished winery. 

The Napa River Inn has been named one of America’s Dozen Distinctive Destinations by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and is a Forbes Four Star hotel. This locally owned and operated inn has 66 rooms spread between three diverse buildings along the waterfront. It’s no surprise that the Inn won a 2018 ‘Best Of Wine Tourism’ award for Accommodation from the Great Wine Capitals Global Network.

Phifer Pavitt Winery is one of the few Green Certified Wineries in the county of Napa. Conn Creek Winery’s enduring commitment to Bordeaux-styled red wines started in 1973. Conn Creek was among a small group leading a renaissance of the Napa Valley and played an important part in establishing Napa Valley’s reputation as a fine wine-growing region. 

The Trefethen Family Winery, originally known as Eshcol, was founded in 1886, a period of great viticultural activity in the Napa Valley.  Phylloxera and Prohibition however, brought wine production to a halt and the winery fell into disrepair until 1968 when John and Janet Trefethen set out to restore it to its former glory. Trefethen won a Global 'Best Of Wine Tourism' award for architecture from the Great Wine Capitals Global Network for this achievement.

Spottswoode is an historic, family-owned estate vineyard in the Napa Valley.  The estate was one of the first to commit to sustainable vineyard practices, introducing organic farming practices such as the use of cover crops, biodynamics and natural insect and weed management.  Spottswoode received a 'Best Of Wine Tourism' award for these practices from the Great Wine Capitals Global Network in 2016.
