Wine Touring Route in Napa Valley San Francisco

Napa Valley is a very special place to visit and its because of our Rocks! Only 4% of California's wine comes from Napa Valley. Though the most renowned winegrowing regions in America, Napa Valley is one of the smallest, yet most diverse winegrowing regions in the world. As such, it was recognized as the first designated AVA in the state of California.

It is only 30 miles long and a few miles wide, but it contains 14 sub-appellations within its borders, each with its own distinct set of microclimates, soils, and elevations. All of this means Napa Valley is able to grow an array of world-class wine grapes, not only Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, but varieties from Albarino to Zinfandel. Visit Napa Valley and find out why Napa Valley Rocks for yourself.
