Soalheiro

Since 1974, Soalheiro has developed a sustainability model deeply rooted in the territory of Melgaço. Working with more than 200 winegrowing families and over 700 characterised Alvarinho plots, it contributes to preserving the cultural landscape of Monção and Melgaço. Its approach includes certified organic production, monitoring of CO₂ and packaging indicators, a fully electric vehicle fleet and the INVINOTEX project, which transforms grape pomace into an alternative to leather. This innovative and measurable approach to sustainability is integrated into the visitor experience.
