Unico Zelo

“When it comes to the brand, we’re all in or nothing. Brendan is like that with everything he does,” says Laura Carter of her husband and business partner Brendan.

As every industry made their ‘pivot’ to take their business online during the COVID-19 lockdown, Brendan, Laura and the Unico Zelo team knew they had to make a commitment that truly meant something to their audience, industry and wider community. They wanted to do something for the people and landed at a daily live streaming show from their home base in the Adelaide Hills.

Monteviejo Winery and Deaf Association of Mendoza

SIGN LANGUAGE GLOSSARY OF WINE

This project was developed by Monteviejo Winery, Wine Institute, Mendoza Deaf Association, GILSA (Argentine Sign Language Instructors Group), the Artistic Experimentation Initiative Reencarnaciones and Topo.s Accesible Culture.

They all together developed an app to learn the Sign Language Glossary of Wine. It was created by the Mendoza Deaf Association (with subtitles in Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese) and can be downloaded to any mobile phone. The main objective is to include deaf people into the wine world and raise public awareness.

Monteviejo Wineries adds virtual wine tastings in Argentine Sign Language to this initiative.

The presentation of the app was accompanied by the media campaign #Dejateenseñarporelvino (Let wine teach you signs!), which aims at encouraging the learning of wine-related words in Argentine sign language in social networks.

The Wine House Hotel ****Quinta da Pacheca

With almost three centuries of existence, Quinta da Pacheca is one of the best known properties in the Douro.

The Wine House****Quinta da Pacheca is the project in which the protagonists are the vine and the wine, the result of the recovery of the old building and the courage to take chances with the new one.

In 2020, the expansion works of the hotel were completed, having now 50 accommodation units, an outdoor pool, spa, art studio, a new tasting room and the recent wine shop. A new dynamic has thus emerged in the wine tourism experience at Quinta da Pacheca.

Creation Wines

Wine tourism is much more than just tasting wine. It is an immersion into the entire experience of wine and at Creation Wines they strive to maximise that experience, making it holistic and complete.

WineFlow

MUSEO VILLA LUCIA

VILLA LUCÍA MUSEUM, in Laguardia, directed by Juanma Lavín and in coordination with Valdemar, has fully developed inclusive tourism. WINEBOX

Winebox Valparaiso is a project that was born with an earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand, the hometown of its creator, Grant Phelps. Already based in the historic neighborhood of Cerro Mariposa for several years, Grant felt the need to replicate in some ways the post-earthquake reconstructions in his adopted port.
