First Crush Restaurant & Wine Bar

The charming wine bar is located right in Union Square, amid the hustle and bustle of San Francisco's central shopping district, steps away from the Financial District and SOMA.   Their list is 100% California, featuring well-known wine stars and boutique, hard-to-find producers alike. Sample from more than 200 bottles, and 30 wines by the glass.   A wine-filled respite in the center of San Francisco? Now that's a combination that's hard to beat.

Château d'Agassac

Situated inside the magical setting of Château d’Agassac, the restaurant La Table d’Agassac opened its doors in June 2015. In a chic and relaxed atmosphere, guests enjoy a  bistronomic cuisine served in the The Renaissance style reception rooms of the Château or on the beautiful terrace overlooking the moat. This “wine restaurant” is runned by Giovanni Curcio, a famous international sommelier who aims to build a strong gastronomic identity around wine. The concept? A “surprise”menus that changes daily with the season and expertly prepared wine & food pairings.

Weingüter Willems & Hofmann

While on the outside clear and simple lines dominate, integrating rather subtly, minimalist and quite technically into the surroundings, inside
the building the tasting room inspires with large glass surfaces that allow extensive views of the production area and the barrique cellar.
This visual linking if not only production and tasting but also the surrounding hilly Rheinhessen landscape offers visitors a deep insight into
the world of wines.

Weingut Hildegardishof

Modern but also committed to tradition, the Hildegardishof wine restaurant can accommodate more than 300 guests in several rooms and serves
authentic local cuisine and excellent wines from Rheinhessen. Naturally, with over 30 different grape varieties that are currently cultivated, a
wide range of wine tastings is available.

Oliver de Luca

Oliver de Luca is known in Mainz not only for his program „Wine & Magic“ in cooperation with Gebert’s Weinstuben, Best Of Wine Tourism
Award winner in the category of Wine Tourism Restaurants in 2009. His idea of enchanting guests as a wizardly host, by combining magic
moments, food and wine and thus creating a wholistic and sensous experience, inspires his audience again and again.

Restaurant Kupferberg

In the category Wine Restaurants, the jury honoured the Restaurant Kupferberg in Mainz for its successful mix of sophisticated cuisine inspired by regional cooking, an all-encompassing wine list featuring Rheinhessen wines, and the site of the former Sektkellerei Kupferberg. The historic atmosphere and its long-standing tradition are combined with an elegant ambience and 200 years of sparkling wine culture. Through its restaurant, a wide public benefits equally from the architectural marvel and the beautiful park-like garden.

Luce at the InterContinental San Francisco

The Michelin-star Luce showcases modern American cuisine and features a menu reflecting the surrounding farms. The 400-label wine list highlights Old and New World wine with emphasis on California.
