Tamber Bey is a producer of exceptional estate-grown wines, and the 2016 San Francisco | Napa Valley Regional 'Best Of Wine Tourism' Winner in Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences.

Since 1999, vintner Barry Waitte has been slowly building the brand from a few hundred cases of Cabernet Sauvignon to a portfolio of twelve wines from vineyards totaling almost 10,000 acres.

The winery is located at the Sundance Ranch in Calistoga, a world-class, 22-acre equestrian facility that is dedicated to training top performance horses. The winery was built in 2013 by remodeling a 15,000-square-foot covered riding arena into a state-of-the-art winemaking facility.

The horses are an integral part of the Tamber Bey story. Waitte, an accomplished horseman, named the wine company after his first two horses. When he acquired the Sundance Ranch, his vision was to build the winery on the property without altering the horse-centric atmosphere.

The tasting room is located in the original barn clubhouse, which was designed by renowned Napa Valley Architect Howard Backen. The 16-stall barn surrounds the courtyard, where guests can taste wine and mingle with the horses. Spectacular view of Mount St. Helena and the Palisades frame the setting.
