Launched in June 1998 to support the urban transformation of the city and the quays, the event quickly gained wide support. The friendly and festive atmosphere of the event seduced the public and the world of wines. The success has grown over the years. From 150 000 visitors in 1998, we have reached 600 000 visitors on the 20th anniversary.
When the success of the association of wines and ships became obvious, we decided to repeat the performance. Therefore, a dozen tall ships will welcome you in Bordeaux for the Wine Festival in June. For four days, Bordeaux will again be the capital of wines and ships!
