WineTourism.com is a new online booking platform designed to make wine tastings and tours more accessible to interested wine drinkers around the globe. They act as an intermediary site connecting wine enthusiasts to interested wineries through our easy online booking system.

Their stakeholders have taken a survey about the impact of #Covid19 on the wine tourism activities in the vineyards around the world.

The survey was conducted during one week in November 2020.

Over 1 200 wineries contributed with answers in order to help us understand the covid-19 impact on wine tourism. The survey focused on 5 questions in order to understand the general situation, as well as some in-depth questions to a selected subset of wineries.

Key findings from the report:

  • Covid-19 has had an extremely large impact on the wine tourism business for wineries.
  • The majority of wineries expect that wine tourism will return to pre-covid levels no earlier than 2022.
  • More than 80 % of  wineries expect that wine tourism will grow in their region during the coming 10 years.
