The Casa do Rio, located on the grounds of Quinta do Orgal overlooking the upper Douro Valley, seems to be at one with the surrounding hillside.  Here, visitors can experience the tranquil beauty of the Douro.  It's no wonder that it was a 2017 winner of a Best Of Wine Tourism award for Sustainable Wine Tourism Practices!

Which means estates need to work hard to set themselves apart in creating a memorable experience to surround the act of tasting the fruits of the vines. And nobody in the Cape does that better than La Motte wine estate in Franschhoek.

Logroño's old town has lots of bars and restaurants, but La Tavina offers wine and food lovers a one-stop wine, tapas and local gastronomic experience.
