Entre Cielos: a modern dream among  the vineyards of Mendoza

In Vistalba, where the vineyards merge with the immensity of the Andes Mountains and the light of Mendoza shines with a unique clarity, Entre Cielos Wine & Wellness Hotel stands out as one of the most extraordinary accommodations in the world of wine tourism. Entre Cielos received the Gold Award in the Accommodation category at Best Of Mendoza's Wine Tourism 2026, a recognition that celebrates its excellence, aesthetic audacity, and deep connection to the Mendoza landscape.

The story of Entre Cielos is also the story of a Swiss woman who found in Mendoza her home. After more than a decade in Argentina, Cecile Adam —its founder— established herself as a benchmark for local tourism. She left behind her family career in the biochemical industry in Switzerland to start a business in the land of Malbec, guided by a powerful intuition and by what she herself describes as “the magic of the unspeakable”.

When she arrived in Mendoza in 2009, she felt an immediate connection. The always generous sun, the friendly rhythm of Mendoza life, the culture of wine and the strength of the mountain embraced her forever. “This country has a heart, something that you won’t find elsewhere,” she says. That heart and that warmth led her to turn a vineyard and a dream into one of the most celebrated boutique hotels in South America.

For almost 15 years, Cecile has been in charge of her life project: Entre Cielos and her own vineyard, in a corner that today she feels like her own. Mendoza went from a tourism destination to home, from adventure to family, from intuition to certainty. “Many people think that everything is better abroad,” she says, “but this country has something that few others have: heart and solidarity.”

That spirit is reflected in every corner of the hotel. Although wine regions are often associated with rusticity, classic villas and centuries-old estancias, Entre Cielos breaks the rule with a contemporary and surprising identity.

Upon arrival, the visitor finds a low, modern, almost sculptural structure of cement and pure lines, closer to a tribute to Peter Zumthor, the recognized Swiss architect, than to a traditional country house. The visual impact is immediate: here begins an experience in which design and nature dialogue without stridency.

The rooms and suites follow that same language: cement, soft textures, natural light and large terraces that open onto the vineyard. Among them all, the iconic Loft Suite stands out, a capsule elevated on stilts that dominates the landscape and offers 360-degree views, even towards the night sky, a true window to the stars of Mendoza.

The hammam and spa deepen the wellness proposal with spaces inspired by stone, silence and tradition. And the experience is completed with a restaurant that combines Mediterranean, Asian and local influences, accompanied by a selection of wines that celebrates the diversity and excellence of Mendoza and the world.

The Gold Award obtained by Entre Cielos is the recognition of a project that integrates architecture, nature, well-being and local culture with an uncommon sensitivity.  They also hold other important rewards as  ‘I Prefer Hotel Rewards’, Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards, The Michelin Guide Hotel Selection, World Travel Awards, LVX Preferred Hotels and Resorts, Travel and Hospitality, World Luxury Spa Awards, Mr and Mrs Smith. Besides, they also are certified as a sustainable hotel.

In a destination like Mendoza – one of the great treasures of the Great Wine Capitals network – this hotel represents the evolution of wine tourism: a space that honors the landscape, cares for the traveler and celebrates identity.

Between mountains, vines and open sky, Entre Cielos confirms that Mendoza’s tourism continues to grow, innovate and excite. And that dreams, when they find fertile ground, can become recognition, unforgettable experiences… and home.
