Located in the Casablanca Valley, Estancia El Cuadro stands out for its magnificent architecture and breathtaking landscape. Created by a team of visionary professionals, this property features a 3,500 m² Wine Tourism and Convention Center and a beautiful chapel, both surrounded by 200 hectares of vineyards and a spectacular 1.9-hectare garden. The result is a unique experience that blends history, Chilean traditions, and wine culture.
The landscape design, led by expert Christa Schulze, aimed to evoke feelings of relaxation, spaciousness, and connection with nature. Her proposal invites visitors to stroll along paths lined with aromatic herbs, enjoy the reflections of the central pond, and take in the changing colors of the surroundings. The garden is laid out along an East–West axis that enhances the light of both sunrise and sunset.
Among the main features are a large pond with fish and an illuminated white bridge, native trees such as quillay and maitén, clusters of shrubs arranged by color and seasonal blooms, and a belt of white roses surrounding the main house, visible even at nightfall.
The main building, designed by architect Juan Pablo Sacarella, showcases a Mediterranean architectural style with Tuscan, Provençal, and Spanish colonial influences. Built atop a 2.5-meter embankment, it appears to float above the vineyards. Inside, it offers spacious rooms and panoramic views of the valley, along with a Wine Museum and top-tier local cuisine.
The chapel, built in 2010 and also designed by Juan Pablo Sacarella, resulted in the creation of a space filled with serenity and natural beauty: a wooden chapel with a warm, contemporary architectural style, where light softly enters through the side windows, illuminating the altar with an atmosphere of reflection and peace.
The vaulted ceiling, built with curved wood, embraces the space like a hug, conveying a sense of harmony and connection with nature. The altar, simple yet elegant, is adorned with carved wooden details and wine barrels that evoke the essence of the valley and its winemaking tradition.
Every element — from the wooden pews to the golden light filtering inside — invites silence, contemplation, and spirituality. This chapel is not only a place of prayer but also a sanctuary where calm, art, and the very essence of Estancia El Cuadro can be felt: the perfect union of landscape, tradition, and Chilean soul.
Estancia El Cuadro is much more than a destination: it is an architectural and cultural landmark that celebrates Chilean wine identity and landscape.
