Double award winner: The unique building and gardens of GUT LEBEN am Morstein, nestled in the vineyards in the centre of Westhofen, have become a venue for sophisticated gastronomy, hotel accommodation, events, conferences and cultural events.
The “vine arbour” and the restaurant’s “wine garden” are authentic settings for enjoying fine wines and culinary delights in the harmoniously restored vineyard castle from the 19th century and its renovated buildings. During the restoration work, the original layout of the buildings and paths on the property was kept as close to the original as possible. With all of this in mind, the jury has decided to recognise GUT LEBEN as a true beacon in the region by presenting it with its second award: the Best of Wine Tourism Award 2022 in the “Architecture, Parks and Gardens” category.
