Through the “Destination Tonnellerie” tour, visitors discover the precise movements and passion of the artisans who craft the barrels in which the House’s eaux-de-vie will age. This ancestral expertise, passed down from generation to generation, earned Hennessy the “Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant” (Living Heritage Company) label in 2024.
In this veritable sanctuary of wood, oak, walnut, and acacia interact with flame and hammer in a ballet of artisans, where each gesture becomes a work of art. The smells of fire, heated wood, and toasted bread accompany a unique sensory experience, imbued with emotion and authenticity.
