The jury highlighted that those responsible for Las Lías Bilbao bar-restaurant, led by Mikel García, confess to having no pretensions of being a “great restaurant” and yet it is, offering visitors outstanding product-driven cuisine and a selection of wines and pairings in continuous change, fun, without prejudice, open to the past and the avant-garde, and giving the table exclusive prominence to good wines, beyond styles and trends.
