Napa Valley Wine Academy is America’s Premier Wine School based in Napa Valley. We offer WSET courses, Masterclasses, Educational Bootcamps in local wineries and vineyards, sommelier courses, and our signature Wine 101 for both the enthusiast and wine and beverage industry professionals alike. Our academy combines the unparalleled knowledge and passion of top wine specialists, with a friendly, approachable teaching style. NVWA was awarded WSET Educator of the year in 2019 and 2016.
NVWA offers the highest level of wine education with a hospitality touch. Our wine courses start with an arrival experience at our Study Lounge where students can enjoy a glass of local sparkling wine and get to know each other and the tutor. NVWA engages all senses of students before they get into the classroom including a sense of smell, touch, vision, taste, hearing, and beyond. They can also pick up a book from our wine library or taste the wine from Wine Emotions while watching educational films from Napa Valley vineyards.
NVWA is the largest provider of WSET wine courses outside of WSET London. Each year we receive over 3000 students who have a great impact on the local economy.
We work with Visit Napa Valley and Canva. We also work with tourism organizations in Rioja, Champagne, Monsant, Rhone, Franciacorta.
We organize Harvest Experiences for our students combining education with visits to local wineries, restaurants, and local organizations.
