Weingut K.&K. Dautermann in Ingelheim is a place where more than 125 years of tradition are blended with a commitment to sustainable wine-growing practices.
The winery has launched an initiative called “Das Blaue Schaf” (“The Blue Sheep”) to create meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities. In collaboration with partners, it produces a wine of the same name. With each bottle sending a powerful message and promoting inclusion. All proceeds go towards other social projects.
Dautermann’s business philosophy is founded upon sustainability: from eco-friendly vineyard practices and inclusive experiences to engaging communication. The winery even has its own shop and accommodation – redefining wine tourism as a sustainable, inclusive and hands-on experience.
For this admirable approach, Weingut K.&K. Dautermann is proudly presented with the 2026 Best of Wine Tourism Award for “Sustainability in Wine Tourism”.
