This winery pays tribute to the rich cultural and architectonic history of Mendoza, combining flavors and aromas with elegant, well organized and distinguished areas. Built in 1922, it´s represents the wine making “golden era” that took place in Argentina.

“Los Toneles” still kept the warm rusticity of the ‘adobe cuyano’ in infinite walls that adds warmth and country environment. The small details of forged steel and the sense of careful silence are combined in a functional architecture.

Cuvaison Estate Wines

The Carneros Tasting Room and winery are of architectural intrigue, offering a warm, yet modern feel that represents the Cuvaison Estate Wines brand, and provides a backdrop for an experience that attracts a new generation of wine patrons while delighting loyal brand advocates. Cuvaison Estate Wines implements sustainable design strategies that include rainwater collection, denim insulation, passive cooling and reclaimed/FSC-certified wood siding and millwork.

Northburn Station

Northburn Station in Central Otago won the Best of Wine Tourism Award for Architecture and Landscapes, this year. General Manager Paul Tudgay said “Owners Jan and Tom Pinckney showed great vision in creating this building and landscape and to get recognition for that is great.

Morgadio da Calçada

Propriedade de vinhas de 5 ha onde são produzidos os vinhos Morgadio da Calçada em parceria com a empresa Niepoort. Enólogo Dirk Niepoort. Grande solar do século XVII com tectos pintados, mobiliário de época. Oito quartos de arquitectura contemporânea resultado da recuperação dos edifícios agrícolas. Provas de vinhos nas antigas adegas com duas das mais monumentais pipas do Douro. Visita à casa e explicação da sua arquitectura e da sua história. Localizada na aldeia vinhateira de Provezende, aldeia mais monumental de toda a região. Interacção com as atividades da aldeia.

Morgadio da Calçada

Property of 5 hectares of vineyards where Morgadio da Calçada wines are produced, in association with  Oenologist Dirk Niepoort. This big XVIIth century Manor House with painted ceilings, époque furniture. 8 contemporary rooms, which result from the recovery of agricultural facilities. Wine tasting is provided in the old cellars, which are home of 2 magnificent Douro barrels. The property is located in the wine village of Provesende, the most monumental of the entire region.


A 240 hectare working wine and fruit farm that dates back over 300 years, with an exceptionally well-preserved werf.  A Garden of Diversity pays tribute to the gardening traditions of the Cape.  Guest accommodation reflects the integrity of the original architecture of the Drakenstein Valley and its symplistic blending with landscape and climate.  Guests may enjoy a walk in the remarkable fruit and vegetable garden, along the Clivia lined stream, sample wines grown on the slopes around the Simonsberg and enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants where distinct flavours celebrate the seasons an

Château de La Dauphine

Château de La Dauphine, nestled in a curve of the Dordogne, is located in the heart of a 40 hectare vineyard that is the second largest in the Fronsac appellation. Beautiful grounds with majestic trees overlook the river and an impressive drive with century-old stone pines offers a sensation of calm and wellbeing that invariably charms visitors. The 18th century manor house is imbued with the spirit of a royal guest, Marie-Josèphe De Saxe, Dauphine de France and mother of King Louis XVI. The woodwork and decoration give visits a unique dimension.

Quinta do Vallado

A Quinta do Vallado, construída em 1716, é uma das Quintas mais antigas e famosas do Vale do Douro.

Pertenceu à lendária Dona Antónia Ferreira e mantém-se até hoje na posse dos seus descendentes. Situa-se nas margens do Rio Corgo, um afluente do Rio Douro, perto da Régua.

Desde 2005 pode receber hóspedes no Hotel com 13 quartos: 5 quartos no edifício histórico da Quinta - construído em 1733, e 8 quartos no edifício projectado pelo Arq. Francisco Vieira de Campos, para cuja construção se utilizou essencialmente o xisto.

Quinta do Vallado

Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous "Quintas" in the Douro Valley.

It once belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Ferreira, and still belongs to her descendents. It lies on both banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro river, near its mouth, close to the town of Peso da Régua.

Since 2005 Vallado has a Wine Hotel, with 13 rooms: 5 in the old Mannor House, built in 1733, and 8 in a new building built by Arq. Francisco Vieira de Campos. In this new project the slate is the main material used.

Spy Valley is based in an impressive and award-winning contemporary building which complements the natural environment in which it is set.  Like the architecture, Spy Valley's landscaped surroundings are also award-winning, and take in breathtaking views of the Richmond Ranges.
