Quinta da Pacheca

On a 51-hectare estate of vines, stretching all the way to Douro, Quinta da Pacheca is a property with an essence and tradition whose history and innovative and sophisticated style will surprise you.

The main building is a traditional 18th-century house which was restored and now houses the 15 rooms and a restaurant.

The facilities, such as the traditional wine presses, port wine ageing cellar, museum, gardens, vineyards and wine shop, can be visited all year long. There are various tasting options and myriad wine and vineyard-related activities to choose from.

Weingut Eppelmann

In April 2013 the Eppelmann Estate set up the multi-media wine hike in Stadecken-Elsheim.
Along various hiking paths through the vineyards visitors can use their smartphone and internet video clips to learn more about grape varieties,
the terroir and grape processing right in the respective individual vineyard sites. Not only are the guests welcome at the Vinothek and estate,
but they are especially invited to embrace the wine as a whole with its origin in the vineyard to the pleasure of finally tasting it.

Weingut Mohrenhof

The Weingut Mohrenhof in Lonsheim appealed to the jury with its Wine Safari program and is accordingly awarded the prize in the category Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences. Throughout Rheinhessen it offers the adventure of a mobile wine seminar on board a vintage off-road vehicle seating nine people. The Wine Safaris show Rheinhessen's countryside with its numerous secret lookout points and lead directly into the vineyards where the guests are invited to on-site wine tastings.

Tamber Bey Vineyards

Tamber Bey is located at the Sundance Ranch, a world-class, 22-acre equestrian facility that is dedicated to training top performance horses. The tasting room is located in the original barn clubhouse, designed by renowned Napa Valley Architect Howard Backen. The 16-stall barn surrounds the courtyard, where guests can taste wine and mingle with the horses among spectacular views of Mount St. Helena and the Palisades.
