On Wednesday, May 28th, the Tourism Board of Mendoza (EMETUR) and ProMendoza launched the 2026 edition of the Best of Mendoza’s Wine Tourism awards, which rewards the best in wine tourism. This is a very special edition as it marks the 20th Anniversary of Mendoza as member of the global network of the Great Wine Capitals.
Wine tourism is an economic driver of the wine industry in Mendoza.
A study by the Mendoza Tourism Board (EMETUR) and the Argentine Wine Corporation (COVIAR) confirms the expansion of wineries open to tourism, the sustained increase in visitors and the positive impact on the economy.
