Fátima Santos

With a background in law, Fatima Santos currently serves as the Director of the Municipal Department of Tourism and Internationalization at the Porto City Council. Her mission is to promote tourist attraction and position the city as a world-renowned destination. Previously, she held the position of Secretary-General at AORP – Portuguese Association of Jewellery and Watchmaking, where she led the internationalization project for the Portuguese jewelry sector under the brand "Portuguese Jewellery." This involved managing financing projects and developing collective promotion initiatives. During her tenure, the Portuguese jewelry sector experienced unprecedented growth, with a 700% increase in the overall export volume. She also served as Vice President of the European Jewellery Federation.
