Geoff Cowey is Senior Advisor, Industry Strategy and Partnerships for the grape, wine and spirits sectors at the Department of Primary Industries and Regions South Australia. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience as a winemaker, scientist, educator and engagement specialist, with extensive domestic and international expertise gained through roles with leading premium wine companies, world-class wine education and research institutions, and government. Geoff is passionate about strengthening innovation, capability and productivity across grape growing, winemaking and regional wine communities, with a particular focus on supporting outcomes for members through Great Wine Capitals initiatives.
