The K.&K. Dautermann Winery is a typical family-run winery in Rheinhessen, producing excellent red wines in Ingelheim, the ‘red wine town’. Perhaps it isn’t quite so typical after all: their son, Klaus Dautermann, was born with Down’s syndrome – which is why the issue of inclusion plays such a significant role at the winery.
