In the Casablanca Valley—globally celebrated for its cool-climate wines—a new cultural landmark is redefining the region’s tourism experience. The Casablanca Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology has emerged as a benchmark for universal accessibility, integrating infrastructure, content, and services that enable every visitor—regardless of mobility, language, or sensory ability—to fully enjoy and understand the valley’s heritage.

From adapted entrances and exhibition halls to inclusive signage and spacious circulation areas, the museum has been designed to offer a comfortable, clear, and safe visit. Interactive exhibits, touch screens, models, and display cases at varying heights enrich the experience, making local history and culture accessible to audiences of all ages and abilities.

This commitment to inclusion extends beyond the museum and into the valley’s broader tourism ecosystem. Increasingly, operators are offering sensory tastings, adapted tours, and flexible private visits tailored to travelers with diverse needs. “Blind tastings,” initially developed in academic settings, have become a powerful tool not only for ensuring equal participation for visually impaired guests but also for inviting all visitors to explore wine through a deeper, more sensory lens.

Community involvement has also become a pillar of the Casablanca Valley’s wine tourism model. Creating opportunities for local residents to visit award-winning wineries strengthens their connection to the region and reinforces the sense of pride in belonging to a Great Wine Capital of the World.
