Return from Potrerillos to the Uco Valley through ‘La Carrera’, a marvellous scenic road.  Stop for a late lunch at one of the many great wineries of the area:
Bodega Salentein, known for its stunning architecture and panoramic views. Explore their art gallery and enjoy a tasting of their Gran VU Blend.
Bodega Andeluna, with its great menu and tiny houses.
Bodega La Azul, with is grilled menu and ‘al fresco’ tables.

Afternoon and evening

Relax at enjoying the Andes views. Wind down with a sunset horseback ride through the vineyards, a spa session or a wine-blending workshop at your lodge. Don´t miss the sunset behind the Andes mountains and the sky full of stars!

Day 3: Culture, Cuisine, and the City of Mendoza

Head back to Mendoza City and spend your final day exploring Mendoza’s vibrant city center and its cultural gems.

Morning

Visit the Central Market (Mercado Central) for a local breakfast and sample regional cheeses, olives, and pastries.
Stroll through the main square of the city, Plaza Independencia, and the surrounding plazas, each with its own charm and history.

Midday

Enjoy lunch at one of the great grill houses of the city center (El Asadito, La Lucía, La Cabrera). Try the traditional ‘asado’ and dishes like empanadas and provoleta with a glass of Torrontés, the flagship white variety of Argentina. Have you ever tried fresh grilled sweetbreads? It is delicious! Highly recommended!

Afternoon

Tour the Foundation Area Museum (Museo del Área Fundacional) to learn about Mendoza’s origins and its resilience after the 1861 earthquake.
Visit some of the art museums of the city (Espacio Contemporáneo de Arte, Mansión Stoppel, Museo de Arte Moderno) for a taste of local creativity.

Evening

End your trip with a wine and shows at any of the casinos in the city. (At the 5 Stars Hotels: Hyatt, Sheraton and Hilton)
