Be part of the Harvest in Mendoza!

With vineyards resting at the foot of the imposing Andes mountain range, summer in Mendoza brings us closer to harvest time and what better than to live the experience in first person. Walking through the rows and cutting the bunches from the vine becomes an unforgettable experience.

Mendoza, internationally recognized for its winemaking identity, offers during February and March different alternatives to experience the Grape Harvest, like the ones offered by Santa Julia Winery, Rosell Boher Lodge, The Vines and Entre Cielos, each one with a particular link between wine, land and people.

Santa Julia Winery

At Santa Julia Winery, visitors can actively participate in the harvest, tour the vineyards, learn about the production process and enjoy gastronomic experiences that highlight local products and sustainability, one of the winery’s axes.  The experience begins at 9:30 a.m. at Casa del Visitante (Visitors’ House)  with an express breakfast to recharge your batteries. The activity begins at 10 am: the group heads to the nearby vineyards, where the harvest adventure begins. With scissors and trays in hand, participants immerse themselves in the art of grape picking, guided by explanations about farm management and harvesting techniques. The activity takes place under the shade of the vineyards and lasts approximately one hour. At noon, the tour continues with a visit to the Santa Julia Winery, where you can explore its facilities and enjoy a wine tasting. In addition, the wine shop is available for those who wish to take home a souvenir of this unique experience.

Rosell Boher Lodge

For its part, Rosell Boher Lodge proposes a Harvest experience associated with luxury, tranquillity and the natural environment. The harvesting activity is complemented by tastings of high-end wines, signature gastronomy (3 courses lunch at its restaurant) and the possibility of staying for the night in the middle of the vineyards, with privileged views of the Andes mountain range. It is a sensory proposal designed for those who want to delve into the universe of the terroir and discover how origin influences the personality of each wine. During the visit, guests tour the winery and taste the same vine grown in different regions in a comparative way, exploring its contrasts and nuances.
