In this growing trend, the story of Marrakech Wine stands out: a company that was born as a small dream and today is part of the wine scene. Behind each piece, each handmade detail, each workshop, is Valentina Lemos Banno, a 26-year-old entrepreneur who turned her love for Mendoza and her sensitivity for design into a proposal that allows visitors of all ages to take a piece of Mendoza with them.

Mendoza, fun for everyone!
Mendoza is an ideal destination for families: beautiful landscapes, natural adventures, good food and good wines! Wineries are a beloved stop for adults and now they can also bring their kids and pets along.
Valentina realized that many wineries didn´t have alternatives for children, so she designed special workshops and activities for them. Wineries can hire Marrakech for entertaining kids coming to their facilities.

She has different options:
- Develop your own business! : inspired on her own story, she guides children during 4 sessions to create their own little business of handmade jewelry.
- Make your own jewelry: in one session kids can choose a type of jewelry and make their own selection of materials. They take this nice souvenir home!
- Fun activities: children can paint, sculpt, play games with her.

A wine, a memory and a story to take home
Marrakech Wine understands that tourism is mainly a creation of beautiful memories and that visitors love experiences and also the objects and small memories that go back home in their suitcases and hearts. “Marrakech Wine is a brand with history, purpose and identity. We are committed to local work, to the symbolic value of wine and the beauty of handcraft,” says Valentina, creator and soul of this project that was born in November 2024 and that in a few months was consolidated as a fresh and innovative proposal within Mendoza wine tourism.

A dream that began in childhood and that today inspires wine tourism
Valentina’s story has the warm pulse of heart-born projects. From the age of seven, she made bijoux in her house in Maipú, Mendoza. Years later, traveling the world, she discovered in Morocco the enormous symbolic power of artisanal objects that tell stories. That trip gave her brand its name and identity.
When she returned to Mendoza, she worked in wineries and hotels, where she detected something that was missing: authentic memorabilia that spoke of the province, its wine, its culture and its landscapes. “Many visitors wanted to take a little piece of Mendoza, but they could not carry bottles. So, I thought about creating small, functional and meaningful memories,” she recalls.

This is how the first glass identifiers were born: each one handmade with beads, charms and colors that evoke vines, mountains, barrels and even icons of Mendoza life, such as mate or mate-kettle.
That first series was a success. Valentina began to receive orders from wineries, agencies and enterprises that were looking for personalized products. Then he added key chains, magnets, pins, pendants and decorative pieces that combine design, sensitivity and memory. Later on, during 2025, she added the experiences and workshops for kids.
Sustainability, memory and love for Mendoza
One of the distinguishing features of Marrakech Wine is its commitment to sustainability. Valentina reuses corks from cellars to turn them into magnets and keychains naturally dyed with wine. Each piece has a unique aesthetic, its own identity and a profound message: to transform elements of the wine world into objects full of meaning, token of the visit to Mendoza.

Mendoza continues to demonstrate that wine tourism can be diverse, inclusive and emotional, a moment for families to enjoy proposals of creative ventures – like Valentina’s – that weave new ways of living and remembering this unique territory.
