After the success of Vinexpo Explorer Mendoza 2025, dedicated to bottled wine, the province will once again be the scene of an event of global scope with an unprecedented edition focused exclusively on bulk wine: Vinexpo Explorer Mendoza 2026 – The Bulk Wine Chapter, which will be held from June 8 to 10, 2026.
The event, organized by ProMendoza, the Government of Mendoza and Vinexposium, with the support of the Argentine Chamber of Bulk Wine, will mark a new milestone for the Argentine wine industry, since it will be the first time in its history that Vinexpo Explorer develops a specialized chapter in the bulk wine segment, considered strategic due to its growing participation in international markets.

The proposal will bring together 25 international buyers, from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, China, North Africa, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, Eastern Europe, the Netherlands and Denmark; who will participate in business rounds with 50 selected Argentine wineries. In addition to the commercial meetings, the guest importers will live an immersive experience to learn in depth about the wine culture, productive capacities and export potential of Mendoza.
This new edition is the continuity of an international promotion policy that had a turning point in 2025, when Mendoza became the first region in South America to host Vinexpo Explorer, one of the most innovative wine events in the world.
The announcement of the first edition took place in the French capital, during the 2025 edition of Wine Paris, where Governor Alfredo Cornejo signed an agreement with Rodolphe Lameyse, then CEO of Vinexposium. The signing of the agreement was also attended by the Argentine Ambassador to France, Ian Sielecki, and the General Manager of ProMendoza, Patricia Giménez.

The Mendoza edition of Vinexpo Explorer 2025 was held from October 6 to 9 and brought together 80 importers from all over the world, who maintained direct contact with 150 local producers. It was the first time that Mendoza simultaneously received such a large number of international buyers from the sector, marking a before and after for the province’s foreign trade.
Months after, ProMendoza has already been able to survey successful commercial transactions as a result of the event.
The innovative format of Vinexpo Explorer, created by Vinexposium in 2017, seeks to show a wine region from an experiential perspective, integrating business, culture, gastronomy and territory. In this sense, Mendoza offers a privileged setting thanks to the development of its wine tourism, considered one of the main tourist attractions in the province.

Vinexpo Explorer Bulk Chapter 2026
This new edition will take place from June 8 to 10, 2026 and participation is open to wineries from all over Argentina that focus on the bulk sale of wine. Vinexposium will invite 25 specialized international buyers, who will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the terroir of Mendoza and to hold business meetings with the participating wineries. It is noteworthy that this will be the first edition focused on bulk wine in the history of Vinexpo Explorer.

Land of the sun and good wine

Currently, Mendoza has 230 wineries open to tourism, which offer proposals ranging from tastings and guided tours to luxury accommodations, haute cuisine restaurants, art exhibitions and cultural shows. In addition, the province has been a member of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network for more than 20 years, joining forces with the most important wine regions in the world to boost the culture of wine and wine tourism.
The importance of the wine industry in the Mendoza economy also explains the relevance of these international promotion actions. The wine chain represents approximately 12.4% of the provincial Gross Geographic Product, considering the entire production process, from the grape to the bottle.
Likewise, the beverage industry – led by wine – represents 54% of Mendoza’s industrial sector. The province concentrates more than 70% of the planted area of vineyards in Argentina, exceeds 64% of the national grape production and produces 74% of Argentine wine.
With more than 147,000 hectares cultivated, the vine is the main provincial crop and the wine complex generates more than 106,000 direct jobs. Added to this is another key fact: Mendoza concentrates 91% of Argentine wine exports, consolidating itself as the main wine-producing region in South America.
In this context, the strategic alliances promoted by the Government of Mendoza and ProMendoza with international players such as Vinexposium strengthen the global positioning of the province and open new commercial opportunities for local wineries, both in the segment of premium bottled wines and in the growing bulk wine market.
