The prize in the Wine Tourism Service category goes to the Best Western Hotel Alzey that was able to score with its new concept of an original heritage wine bus which takes the hotel’s guests to winegrowers in the whole of Rheinhessen. The special feature: the nostalgic bus trips with picnics at lovely locations and barbecuing pleasure can be chosen exactly the same as an evening tour with four menus at four different winegrowers.

Wine Republic is a free magazine written in English and Portuguese, distributed throughout Argentina, specializing in Mendoza and its wine.

Foreign visitors can enjoy original articles, written by native English and Portuguese speakers who are passionate about Mendoza and its wine.

The concept radiates innovation and actuality, it tries to resuscitate the ancient “offices of wine” of neighbourhood and to bring the wine over again to “all the public”, to the understood ones and to those who are not so much, all this in a space multi-uses where coexist a wine vault, a shop and a bar.This project is directed to all the fans of the world of the wine, that nowadays the number is growing and with better knowledge, what implies a necessary progress of the services of the product.

Caves Graham's 1890

Graham’s Port Wine cellars were built in 1890 and still remain in their original setting. Located in Vila Nova de Gaia, they offer a magnificent view over Porto’s historical zone, the Douro River and the iconic Luís I bridge, benefiting from the sea climate, ideal for ageing Port Wine. The cellar now comprises around 3200 oak barrels, 40 Port Wine casks and an extraordinary set of bottled Vintage Port. Open for 20 years, it has become an inevitable destination for Port Wine lovers, where visitors get to explore Graham’s wines.
