Buenos Aires and Mendoza are the first two Hispanic destinations in South America to see restaurants recommended by the MICHELIN Guide.
The awards were unveiled in a ceremony held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on November 24th.

The following restaurants from Mendoza got a Michelin star: Zonda, Cocina de Paisaje (Chef Augusto García); Casa Vigil (Chef Iván Azar); Brindillas (Chef Mariano Gallego) and Azafrán (Chef Sebastián Weigandt)

The guide also included the following recommended restaurants from Mendoza (in alphabetical order):
- 1884 Francis Mallmann
 - 5 Suelos
 - Abrasado
 - Angelica Cocina Maestra
 - Centauro
 - Espacio Trapiche
 - Fogón Cocina de Viñedo
 - La Vida
 - Osadía de Crear
 - Piedra Infinita
 - Quimera Bistró
 - Renacer
 - Riccitelli Bistró
 - Ruca Malen
 - Soberana
 
Among the recommended establishments the guide also mentioned some accommodation options in Mendoza:
Lares de Chacras, Auberge Du Vin, Algodon Wine States, The Vines Resort & Spa, Entre Cielos, Susana Balbo Winemaker’s House & Spa Suites, Casa de Uco y Finca Adalgisa.
