Talestri Winery is more than a wine estate: it is the story of a family that has lived and breathed the vineyard for generations. Lisa, Francesca and Anna Marcato grew up among the vines and barrels, following in the footsteps of their grandfather and their father Francesco. They learned to recognize the aromas of grapes and fermenting must, the rhythm of the seasons, and the value of time.
Today, the sisters carry forward a project born in Valpolicella (Verona) in 2015, one that blends tradition with a contemporary sensibility, transforming their passion for wine into an experience open to everyone, especially families: a place where adults and children can share the beauty of the vineyard and the love of wine.
The 10-hectare estate, located on the eastern hills of Valpolicella (Verona), is distinguished by its sustainable practices and S.Q.N.P.I. certification. Here, volcanic soils, breezes from the Lessini Mountains, and the vineyards’ southern exposure give life to elegant, refined wines such as Amarone, one of the greatest icons of Italian winemaking. The true value of Talestri is found not only in its bottles: the grapes of Valpolicella meet the family’s long winemaking tradition, resulting in innovative wines that express passion and creativity.

Stories of Strength and Connection
The name Talestri recalls the legendary Queen of the Amazons, a symbol of strength, resilience, and sensitivity. These values guide the winery, shaping it into a place where agricultural tradition coexists with a genuine vision attentive to people, animals, and especially children. From the beginning, the estate has stood out for its approach that places guests at the heart of the experience, not only the wine itself, but also the land and the emotions it inspires and invites people to share.
Visiting Talestri means experiencing Valpolicella with all your senses: walking among the rows of vines, exploring the vineyards and winery, tasting signature wines, and discovering the unique volcanic terroir and winemaking techniques. But Talestri is more than wine; it is a place where every experience becomes a memory and an emotion, capable of telling stories, building connections, and passing on passion.

Wine as a Shared Experience
Every visit becomes an adventure for children: creative workshops using materials gathered in the vineyard, blind tastings of fruit juices, and sensory activities that spark curiosity and imagination, making the experience unique and memorable for the entire family. Their colorful creations often remain in the winery, for example decorated cardboard circles that are then placed on the tonneaux, while adults enjoy the magic of the tasting.

Activities follow the seasons: “Autumn Tales” and “Winter Tales” feature illustrated readings and creative workshops, while parents enjoy the wines in an atmosphere both intimate and magical. Spring brings the traditional egg hunt through the vineyards, an Easter event that combines fun, discovery, and nature, creating unforgettable moments for all. In this way, every season becomes an opportunity to come together, learn, and enjoy time immersed in the magic of wine and the natural world, a need that arose from the Marcato sisters themselves, together with their families and their children.

Talestri is proof that wine can be a bridge, between generations, between past and future, between tradition and imagination, between those who have always loved wine and those who are only just discovering it. It shows that wine, at its heart, is a way of sharing life.
