Husband and wife team Nicolas and Alexandra Robin bought Château Rol Valentin, Grand Cru Classé of Saint Emilion in 2009, but they are no strangers to the region.

GWC Launches International Research Grant
The Great Wine Capitals Global Network has unveiled an exciting initiative, the GWC International Research Grant, designed to enhance excellence and innovation in wine tourism research while addressing industry needs. The project will award two grants, each worth €7,500, to applicants who present outstanding academic research with significant practical implications in the field of wine tourism in the GWC regions.

The leading wine-tourism festival – Bordeaux Fête le Vin – is back from 22 to 25 June on the quays of the Garonne, with a preview in restaurants and cultural venues across the Bordeaux metropolitan area from 15 June. Hosted every year, this popular event focuses on promoting the Bordeaux destination through its wines, including organic and responsible productions, its local and artisanal products and its heritage.
