Both in the production of grapes and elaboration of wines, women are gaining spaces in a territory historically occupied by a male majority. In this context -and in line with the objectives of the Strategic Wine Plan 2030 of the Argentine Wine Corporation (COVIAR)- the project ‘Women in the Vineyard’ was born. It is run by the Small Producers unit in collaboration with the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA). This initiative promotes the horizontal integration of producers with a gender perspective.
