The Regional Best of Wine Tourism, part of the Great Wine Capitals network, has awarded seven swiss wine activities. This event recognizes innovative contributions to Swiss wine tourism, spanning architecture, culture, innovation, and more. It’s a unique opportunity for Swiss regions to shine, fostering national and international recognition. With nominees hailing from various Swiss cantons, this year’s, once again, highlighted the very best in Swiss wine tourism.
The Vaud Wines celebrate the union of music and wine once again at the Montreux Jazz Festival 2023
From June 30 to July 15, 2023, Vaud wines will be on display at the Montreux Jazz Festival in an open-air wine cellar. Refreshing, free and accessible to all, the stand offers an exquisite selection of local wines, celebrating the perfect alliance with music.

Montreux hosted the Sélection des Vins Vaudois awards ceremony at the Grand Hôtel Suisse Majestic on July 3, 2023. The winners were announced with great enthusiasm, rewarding the passionate commitment of Vaud wine producers and their dedication to excellence.
La Cave de Genève
La Cave de Genève, a key player in the Swiss wine scene, has been organising various wine tourism activities for several years. We started with the harvest activity and, following interest from participants, we created the pruning and defoliation of the vine experiences.
Excellent vintage for the Caves Ouvertes Vaudoises 2023
Over 80,000 visitors flocked to taste the latest vintages from the 250 winegrowers for the 13th edition of the Caves Ouvertes Vaudoises. The Office des Vins Vaudois is delighted with the success of this year’s event, with ticket sales exceeding those of pre-Covid years.

The wide range of grapes not only makes Swiss wine extremely varied, but also unique in the world. Some 252 grape varieties, from Switzerland’s almost of wine producing land, allow for almost endless blending possibilities. The Vignes&Culture adventure continues!
The concept of Vignes&Culture is very simple: the domains welcome the spectators in an exceptional environment for about three hours with 40 to 45 minutes of show, the possibility – according to the proposed packages – to eat and taste the wines of the domain.
